Chimera Book Project

The Chimera Book Project is a growing fantasy world of invented chimera—hybrid creatures stitched together from two or three animals, sea creatures, and/or insects. Drawn in ballpoint pen and given their own names, each chimera is treated as a small portrait: a distinct character with its own temperament, posture, and presence. They appear in silly, ridiculous circumstances that stage them like actors in miniature scenes, and are presented in rhyming pairs where image and verse work together like quick, mischievous folktales—playful, odd, and unexpectedly alive. - Nicole
