Nicole Duval

Nicole Duval, (b. 1972, Johannesburg, South Africa), was raised in Melbourne, Australia where she studied art at Prahran College. After spending a number of years in Israel, where she achieved a BA in Archaeology and English Literature, Nicole moved to New York City where she attended The Art Students League of New York and The National Academy, studying under Harvey Dinnerstein, Marybeth McKenzie and Sharon Sprung. She received her MFA in painting from The New York Academy of Art in 2017. Nicole was awarded The New York Academy of Art Merit Scholarship in 2015 and 2016 and the Cuttyhunk Island Artist Residency Award in 2017. Nicole lives and works in New York City.
